Compute

Creation and Management of Cloud Instances

Open Cloud provides flexible and scalable computing power in the cloud on demand. Using Open Cloud helps reduce costs for hardware, application development, and deployment.

You can launch any number of virtual servers needed for your tasks, security, and network parameters, and manage platforms as required.

The ability to scale allows you to use resources to handle complex computing tasks, such as data processing or sudden website traffic spikes, and also to save resources when demand decreases.

Virtual servers in Open Cloud are flexible and scalable computing resources that can be configured and managed as needed.

When launching a virtual server, you choose a type that determines the available hardware resources.

Each virtual server type offers a unique set of resources, such as computing power, memory, networking, and storage.

Functions in Compute
Instances – These are virtual servers that you can use to run applications and process data.

Instance types – Open Cloud provides a wide range of instance types, each designed for different usage scenarios and workloads.

Key pairs – Used to provide secure access to your instances.

Snapshots – These are data backups that allow you to save the state of your data at a specific point in time.

Auto Scaling Groups (ASG) – This service automatically scales the number of Compute instances based on current application demands. It helps ensure availability and optimal resource utilization by dynamically adjusting the number of instances.

Launch config – This defines the configuration of a Compute instance, which is used to create new instances within an Auto Scaling Group.

Instance Profiles – This component, related to Identity & Access, allows Compute instances to access resources using IAM roles.
